Core Bridge Academy – ALPHA STEP EDUCARE/PRE-PRIMARY 

• We are a feeder school to the schools in our geographical area. This includes Clarendon.
• Disclaimer: All schools that claim to be the “only” feeder pre primary to Clarendon cannot guarantee your childs acceptance. Clarendon and the other schools in the area have their own very specific entrance criteria.
• PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONFIRM THIS WITH THE SCHOOLS!

FEES

• We are a fee paying school.We rely solely on the fees received from parents to pay rental, salaries and all costs incurred to maintain our very high standard of education.
• All fees are payable strictly in advance. We do not operate on a credit basis.
• Children may not attend school if fees have not been paid as this would be very unfair on parents who pay their fees on time and in line with the agreement entered into.

ALPHA STEP TOTS & TODDLERS

• For children 2 years, turning 3 in the year of enrolment. Toilet training is done in this group.
• Children entering Grade 000 (3 years turning 4 in year of enrolment) must be fully toilet trained and able to communicate effectively.
• No child will be admitted to the Grade 000 class if not fully toilet trained.

AFTER CARE/HOMEWORK CENTRE & HOLIDAY CLUB /CHILDREN NOT ENROLLED AT ALPHA STEP

After School Care – Full time attendance – Children not enrolled at Alpha Step Educare i.e. those who attend another school in the mornings – includes lunch and afternoon snack and 1 hour of supervised homework for pupils from Grade 1.

Casual attendance – Occasional afternoons during the week – payable per hour

MEALS: Please note that we do not cater for children with special dietary needs and therefor parents will need to supply meals for their children within the parameters of  our ‘no junk food’ policy.

Friday is sweet treat day and parents may send R10.00 on a Friday for a sweet treat for their child. (Make & Bake or buy in)
