Alpha Step Daily Meal plan –
All children enrolled full time at Alpha Step or from another school for after care/homework centre receive lunch and afternoon snack and juice.
NOTE: We do not cater for children with special dietary requirements. In the event that a child has certain food intolerance’s or allergies then the parents will need to provide their lunch and afternoon snack. These meals/snacks will need to fall within our ‘no junk food’ policy.
- All food is freshly prepared daily
- Both brown and white bread sandwiches are served – afternoon snack
- Fresh vegetables
- Beverage is mixed cordial
- Children are encouraged to drink water.
Mid-afternoon snack: Sandwiches with peanut butter and jam
Friday: Sweet Treat day – R10.00 to be sent to school for a sweet treat if you would like your child to receive a sweet treat during the mid-morning break.
